The New Hotel Roblin La Madeleine is an upscale boutique hotel in Paris’ popular 8th Arrondissement. The hotel is a one-minute walk from Eglise La Madeleine and within walking distance of the Seine and the Champs-Elysees. The decor is sophisticated and vintage, with each room named and styled after a different Parisian street. Seventy-seven chic rooms feature Nespresso coffeemakers and attractive hardwood floors. If you care about style and scene, consider the nearby Hoxton, Paris instead.

The Saint Dominique Hotel is an upscale boutique property located on a busy street between the Eiffel Tower and Invalides, in the elegant 7th Arrondissement. Once part of a 17th-century convent, it includes a lovely inner courtyard, and a cozy bar that serves as a lounge and cafe. Renovated in 2013, its 32 rooms range from small, standard Comfort Rooms to Junior Suites -- and most include sitting areas. Bathrooms have Azzaro design fittings, and walk-in showers with rainfall fixtures. A full breakfast (for a fee) is served daily. Travelers might want to also consider the nearby Hotel La Bourdonnais.

On-site restaurant Le Comptoir is a destination unto itself, and guests get priority when booking one of its coveted tables. Large, stylish rooms feature unique decor and distinctive details inspired by literary greats, as well as luxe amenities that include stocked minibars and Anne Semonin toiletries. The Relais Saint-Germain also offers a convenient location within walking distance of posh shops, great restaurants, and popular attractions such as Notre Dame cathedral and the Louvre. But the hotel does not have a fitness center, and some bathrooms are small.
