The upper-middle-range hotel now has a coffee and wine bar, a restaurant that serves regional favorites, and a cocktail terrace cafe with beautiful views of Lake Como. There are also a seasonal outdoor pool and and indoor pool, hot tub, and full-service spa. The trendy vibe doesn't continue into the rooms, which have a more classic look. All have work desks and there are suites with fireplaces and kitchenettes. Extras include free mountain bikes, though the resort fee might be a bummer for guests who aren't using them. Travelers looking to be downtown should compare rates with the Bella Vista Suites overlooking Geneva Bay.
