Lake Annecy is just an 10-minute walk from the hotel, and some rooms offer impressive views of the River Thiou. It's a good value for a two-and-a-half-pearl hotel considering its closeness to the local attractions, including Annecy Cathedral and Jardins de l'Europe, while shops, bars and restaurants are all around. Rooms are fairly small and somewhat generic, but are modern and come with air-conditioning and free Wi-Fi access. There's a breakfast buffet, although this costs extra. For those wishing to stay somewhere with more charm and ambience, Splendid Hotel may be a good alternative, although rooms are more expensive.
