The beachfront Caribbean Club, one of the most luxurious (and expensive) resorts in Grand Cayman, is a boutique property exuding luxury and elegance. Its 24 one- to three-bedroom units are individually owned and exquisitely decorated. All are spacious and feature full kitchens, marble bathrooms with separate whirlpool tubs and rainfall showers, and balconies with gorgeous ocean views. Caribbean Club's uncrowded beach and pool areas allow for a truly serene tropical getaway, and while most condo properties in the area don't even offer on-site dining, the restaurant here is one of the best on the island.
Plantana Condominiums is an intimate property set amid lush tropical grounds. Each of its 49 one- to three-bedroom condos is individually decorated and has a full kitchen and a big balcony with either garden or ocean views. Same as Caribbean Club, this property has one of the best beachfronts in the area, as well as a pool overlooking the ocean. As is the case at most condo properties in the area, there aren’t many additional amenities -- the property lacks a fitness center and restaurant (both available at Caribbean Club). Still, prices are competitive for what you get -- and are much lower than what you'll find at our number-one pick.
Discovery Point Club is made up of 45 one- and two-bedroom condos -- all with fully equipped kitchens, spacious living rooms, and gorgeous ocean views. There is a washer/dryer in each unit, as well as free Wi-Fi. Though the units are individually owned and decorated, the furnishings are typically modern and welcoming. The property has a beautiful pool and hot tub area and a large but slightly rocky beach. For a smoother beach, try for Plantana Condiminiums, which is located on one of the island's best stretches of coast.
A small and relaxed condo complex on a peaceful stretch of beach, Aqua Bay Club is ideal for families and couples. The property consists of 21 individually decorated condo units, all of which offer bright living areas, full kitchens, furnished patios or balconies, and free Wi-Fi. Guests have direct access to an uncrowded stretch of sand, and the hotel has an appealing outdoor pool and hot tub area overlooking the sea. Similar to Discovery Point Club, on-site amenities are otherwise limited and the beach is a tad rocky, but we gave Discovery Point the edge since each of its condos features a washer/dryer -- a huge perk for a condo property.
