The 530-room Hyatt Regency Indian Wells Resort and Spa is a modern and luxurious mega resort with seven pools, access to two top-rated golf courses, and a medical spa with non-invasive skin tightening treatments. It’s close to a small town with easy access to shopping areas. Though the resort is big, special events can make certain spots feel crowded and there's a daily resort fee and parking fee. The big and pretty rooms are decorated in sunset tones; villas have butler service. It’s worth it to compare rates with similar properties, such as the Rancho Las Palmas, which has a water park and is a little closer to the airport.

Scene
Contemporary mega resort
The decor at the Hyatt Regency Indian Wells Resort and Spa is ultra contemporary but still gives off a relaxing vibe. The lobby, with its geometric front desk and red accent walls, has a sophisticated feel, as does the sleek Agave Sunset bar, which has plush indoor and outdoor seating areas. The Lantana restaurant has the airier feel of a resort eatery. Plastic and fabric loungers surround the pool area and the cabanas have flat-screen TVs, but there are plenty of kid-friendly amenities, including a pool with a water slide. The Agua Serena spa is very open and bright, with outdoor pools and hot tubs.
