Scene

Simple, reliable, mid-range chain hotel

The large lobby at the mid-range Silka West Kowloon Hotel features high ceilings that are two stories tall. The hotel is fronted by floor-to-ceiling glass which fills the airy space with natural light. The on-site restaurant is on
the perimeter of the second floor, looking down at the lobby below. There is a small waiting area with leather chairs and couches, along with a vending machine and free brochures for guests to peruse. While not winning any design awards, this simple hotel provides a reliable and clean place to stay at a good price.

Location

In Tai Kok Tsui, a booming new city in Kowloon

Situated between an older
neighborhood and a newly built commercial one, the Silka West Kowloon Hotel is surrounded by a
bustling scene. The hotel is a stroll away from the popular commercial,

has a mix of local shops and restaurants and Olympian City 2, an extremely
large shopping mall. For transportation, both the Mong Kok East Train Station
and the China Hong Kong Ferry Terminal are within 10 minutes on foot and the Hong Kong
International Airport is 35 minutes away.
