Due to its location within the massive Hynes Convention Center, the 803-room Westin Copley Place is one of the city's most popular hotels for business travelers. It manages to feel cozy and charming despite its size, thanks to its accommodating service and great dining options. The business center is a little pricey, though.
Opened in February 2008, this bright 450-room hotel offers a lot for the price -- fairly large, stylish rooms; an indoor pool; a great restaurant; a lively bar. With a location that's ultra convenient to the airport, train station, and Boston Convention Center, it naturally attracts large groups and business travelers.
The Courtyard is within walking distance of the Hynes Convention Center, but it's cheaper than the hotels housed within the Hynes complex. Big rooms with free hard-wired Internet, a comfy business lounge with free computer and printer access, and a quality, inexpensive breakfast buffet make this a quality choice.
A sleek -- yet affordable -- 426-room business-oriented hotel with a great gym, a no-tipping policy, impressive eco-initiatives, and a floor's worth of obsessively hypoallergenic "PURE" rooms, the Seaport offers something a bit different from its neighbors the Renaissance and the Westin Boston Waterfront.
For a reasonable price, this 26-story behemoth packs in a lot of quality and convenience: large rooms, a pool and fitness center, and a bustling Cambridge location amid MIT buildings and close to public transportation. It's one of the best chain-hotel deals in Boston, and an excellent choice for business travelers.
The Residence Inn is one of the best bets in the city for extended stay business travelers, with some of the largest rooms in Boston, kitchenettes, an indoor pool, an on-site laundry room, and a reasonably-priced grocery shopping service.
